How to disable Apple Intelligence

If you want to disable Apple Intelligence on MacOS and iOS devices, here's how:

Disable Apple Intelligence in MacOS

  1. Click the Apple menu.

  2. Select System Settings

  3. Navigate to “Apple Intelligence & Siri” in the sidebar.

  4. Flip the Apple Intelligence toggle to Off.

  5. That’s it—until the next update.

The process is quick, but the catch lies in its impermanence. Each OS update...can quietly reactivate it. Users on X have grumbled about this, with one suggesting it’s worth bookmarking the steps as a post-update ritual.

And even if we do, what are the options? Google? Samsung is not exactly left of center? Once Twitter, Facebook, Microsoft, Google, Oracle, and Amazon blended their knees anyone who didn’t was making a honorable but potentially disastrous business decision. You might have a better idea than I do, so maybe we should compile a list of technological alternatives to those companies that caved to Trump?

3. Unfortunately, there don't seem to be any tech companies that haven't caved to MAGA and billionaires.

I've been big on Apple since I first started working on a computer for work, ages ago. I love my iPhone and my Apple laptop.

It’s supported on iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max and apparently on all other iPhones ver. 16 and later.
