Hijacked by Yahoo?

I use Firefox (and also have Safari).

A few days ago, my home page flipped to "Yahoo". Not only that, but when I went to certain sites and tried to go to a second page, I'd get the Yahoo page for a second or two and then an error message.

When it flips to "Yahoo", the URL doesn't look like a genuine Yahoo address.

Sometimes I can access a site from Firefox, and if I can't then sometimes I can get it through Safari.

I'm on an iMac -- 10.6.8.

Any ideas?

For something that looks a little out of place? That's my thought. I can't say it's the cause, but it could be a rogue ext/addon
