How do I get to my clipboard on a Chromebook?
I just took a screen shot I really want to keep. It saved to my clipboard. Where the heck is that?
Thanks.

(8,546 posts)1. I think Chrome OS saves screen capture images in the Downloads folder.

(But I don't know much about Chromebooks.)
ETA: Here's a more recent how-to about screen captures:

That doesn't quite accurately describe what I'm seeing in my settings. I think the thing I want to save has a url. Maybe if I e-mail that to myself I can pick it up on my other computer that will allow me to do what I want.
It's a confirmation for my covid shot, and I really want to print that for my appointment in case there's any kind of mix-up.

If I had access to a Chromebook, I might be more helpful. Good luck!
ETA: does the url start with file? Something like this:
If so, that points to the folder on your Chromebook where the file is located. If it starts with http then your screen captures must be saved to a cloud account (probably GoogleDrive) automatically.

(7,527 posts)2. Chrome OS doesn't have an accessible clpiboard
But you can download an app for that.

(47,337 posts)4. It says it saved to a clipboard
What's the point of having one if it's not accessible?

And Control V to paste what's on the clipboard.
