Android phone won't allow internet - Kicks you off the internet

Hello. My roommate has a problem with her android phone. Every time she tries to get on the internet it kicks her off. Sometimes she is able to get on enough to start reading email, only to have it kick her off. Customer service is useless right now as she told me that she thought the guy she was talking to actually fell asleep. Snoring even. I know these are trying times, but wow! Anyone got any ideas?

Her husband has the exact same phone and doesn't have a problem. Also there are other computers using this connection, including me!

Sometimes the DHCP lease needs to be renewed.

To delete a saved Wifi network from your phone or tablet, all you need to do is go to the Wifi section of your settings menu. Find the network you want to get rid of. Long press it, then chose "Forget."

Or as my roommate says, "It's possibly fixed, maybe" as she is now surfing and reading off headlines. Thank you nice people for the help!
