Is there a way to cancel a *sent* email from AOL ?
My mom uses AOL and she just sent out an email she wishes she hadn't. I have no experience with AOL. Is there a "cancel" function ?

and emerge at the recipient. She could ask the recipients to delete it. The process of delivery usually takes seconds at most.

(28,744 posts)6. That's the same thing.
"The message was sent to AOL recipients only. You cannot retrieve an email if it is delivered to internet recipients, not even from the AOL recipients."
The only difference appears to be whether it's been read or not.

TwilightZone
(28,744 posts)7. AOL has its own proprietary protocol.

Unsend doesn't work unless it was sent from within AOL. Doesn't apply to SMTP.
