Is the Apple OS and Windows similar in this regard?
Does my iPad's operating system get cluttered and slow down over time?
I remember back in the day I'd reformat my Windows system occasionally to bring life back into it.
My iPad 2 is dog slow. I have plenty of free space and have taken measures to speed it up (online guides) but nothing helps.
Is it that the latest updates, meant for newer iPads, have caused it to slow down and there is no cure or would a return to factory specs help?

If I should even bother with resetting it.
Then again...what do I have to lose?

I returned the iPad back to original settings.
While still a bit slow it is a lot better now. It's useable for sure!!
