I need computer 101 help increasing the size of an image.
I am trying to convert this to a t-shirt to fund our PAC. It looks like a freaking matchbook.

(45,851 posts)I do that sort of thing quite a bit and I couldn't get it to look good enough to make a reasonable looking t-shirt. Optical character recognition bombed on it too so that's out as well.
Retype it in Word or even Wordpad and print it out the size you need, that way you can use whatever font/color you like the best as well.

(43,049 posts)here's a slightly complicated way that will give you stuff you can use in the future:
First, download XnView from this site:
http://www.xnview.com/en/
It's one of many simple, great, and free image programs that you will find useful for all sorts of stuff. I recommend this one over others simply because i use it a lot.
Then, go to the Facebook page and right click on the image-- choose "Save as..." and a small screen will pop up asking you where to save it and what to call it. I often tend to choose "Desktop" so I can find it easily, but any "My Pictures" folder works (Don't forget where you put it, though, or you may never find it again )
Finally, open XnView and then open the image and use the "Resize" function.
Done
Now, if it looks all grainy and fuzzy because it didn't scale up properly, the best bet may be to simply retype the whole thing.

(10,136 posts)is a version of the picture that has not been mangled by Facebook.
If you don't have access to a bigger version to start with, preferably the original, then your best bet would be to either contact the owner to get a bigger version (and permission to print) or just retype the text into a document file and work from there.
