Could Paul Thurmond(R-SC) get elected to the US Senate from SC these days?
Unlike his infamous father Strom, Paul supported the removal of the confederate flag from the SC state capital. Tim Scott is retiring from the US Senate in 2028. Is today’s SC Republican Party more or less bigoted than the Strom era Republican party. Who is more popular in SC? Trump? DeSantis? Scott? or Haley?
