Which Democrat is going to challenge John Cornyn in 2026?

Cornyn has a 24 percent approval/50 percent disapproval.
The top tier Democratic candidates are the Castro Twin Brothers(Julian and/or Joaquin), Colin Allred, Lizzie Fletcher, Veronica Escobar, and/or Marc Veasey. TX is likely to become more Democratic in 2026.

I used to really love Joaquin Castro, but he's sold-out Texas for DC politics more than once. So, I'm more in favor of Julian, now. Colin Allred is also good.

The only TX Democrat I oppose is Henry Cueller. He belongs in the Manchin Sinema wing of the Democratic Party.
Eddie Bernice Johnson, Sheila Jackson Lee, Lloyd Doggett, Sylvia Garcia, and Al Green are over 70 years old.
