Of the east coast - mainly the Great Dividing Range in Victoria and Southern NSW. There are several very busy ski/snow resorts. Ocassionally in the outer NE suburbs of Melbourne which are close to the foothills of the range.

As I type, central Au. is expecting an unusual big wet and extremely low temps. There's even word of snow on some peaks, per this article from yesterday.

That would be worth seeing.

I look at the satellite images of the weather all over the globe and think of you when looking at your area. I saw a large wave of a cloud system making its way across the continent this morning. That's what made me wonder about the snow.

Or two ago; at least Aldi had a shop full of ski gear specials.

It looks sunny in the pix, but it's not warm here at the moment. Nowhere near as cold as you get in winter though - today 13c which is kinda normal for winter in Victoria. I'm right on Bass Strait, east of Melbourne and the wind can be fierce.
