WI-AD80: Mike Bare (D), Robert Relph (R) face off in 80th Assembly District

Parts of west Madison have moved into a new Assembly district, and voters will have a choice on the Nov. 5 ballot as to who will represent them.

Under new legislative maps signed into law by Gov. Tony Evers, a reaction to a Wisconsin Supreme Court decision tossing out the old lines, the boundaries for Assembly District 80 changed.

The new 80th district includes Verona and Cross Plains as well as the Town of Middleton and parts of west and southwest Madison.

Democratic state Rep. Mike Bare, D-Verona, and retired firefighter and coach Robert Relph of Cross Plains, the Republican nominee, will face off in the Nov. 5 general election.
