$177M school referendum on the ballot in Tomah

TOMAH, Wis. (WXOW) - A new high school and renovations to other district buildings are at the center of a referendum on the November ballot in Tomah.

On Monday, the district's Board of Education approved placing the $177 million referendum before voters on November 5.

If approved, funds would go to building a new high school, renovating the current high school into a middle school, then remodeling the existing middle school into an elementary school.

Funding is also earmarked for renovations at La Grange Elementary School for early childhood education and Montessori classrooms plus district-wide capital improvement projects.
