Glad there were many on the board to counter that BS. Several of my Dane County family send email messages of support to the board. That only one caved to hate when faced with the onslaught during the meeting is pretty surprising considering how much of Dane County is outside Madison.

Bur since that is not the case, I'm proud to live in a sanctuary city that welcomes gay and trans people.

I have long been glad my trans daughter and her family are in Dane County. I'm even happier now.
