In 2022, Wisconsin Dems must define what the GOP has become

Turns out I misheard Tony Evers on the radio, though I kind of wish he had said what I thought he said.
The Democratic governor has recently conducted a series of year-end interviews with political journalists including
Cap Times reporters. In his Wisconsin Public Radio interview, I thought Evers complained that Republicans on the state Supreme Court had consistently interfered with his ability to protect Wisconsin residents from COVID.
Upon closer listening, Evers said Republicans and the court had systematically frustrated his efforts to protect Wisconsin citizens.
Make no mistake, though, either version is accurate.
The conservative majority on the high court is as much a part of the Republican Party as its majorities in the Legislature. They are beholden to the same far-right special interest money. Never has that been more apparent than in the current clown show being orchestrated by ex-Justice Michael Gableman.
