Related: About this forumMr AC voted this morning in Stoughton. Huge lines!
I early-voted. He usually goes right before work, and is #75-100. Today he waited for 30 minutes and was #412! He said there was a line to register to vote.

(7,725 posts)We can do this. 12 more hours. It's not too late to go to your HQ and make calls. !2 more hours to do our work. If we do our best we can have no regrets.

(17,022 posts)Was #1057. That is about 2/3 of what we get in any election in that ward. At noon. That doesnt even count absentee ballots yet.

(18,967 posts)I've lived in this house, in this neighborhood for 32 years.
Twenty minutes ago we had a knock on the door and the person at the door introduced himself as a worker for the County Democratic Party. He asked if we had voted yet, if we intended to, and did "all" people in the household eligible to vote intend to vote.
That's the first time anybody has come to the door for the Democratic Party in 32 years!
The Democratic Party (in terms from Apocalypse Now)
"Definitely has it' s**t together"!
I am actually optimistic ....
Voted just before noon and that's about 1/3 of the entire number of registered voters in my ward. Normal for a mid-term election is around 10-15 per cent.
