The best and the brightest have always left the state, I remember that from my late high school years (50 some years ago).
And now that Wanker and the Repugs are messing with labor and the universities; it will just continue to get worse.
Nobody in their right mine wants a diminished education or a low paying job that doesn't keep up with the cost of living, which is constantly being inflated.
Most people just Know better than that.
