Related: About this forumGranite Falls '10-foot alligator' is actually a tegu named 'Tazz'
GRANITE FALLS Turns out, the 10-foot alligator still on the loose is just Tazz, an Argentine white tegu.
As of Saturday morning, Snohomish County Sheriffs Office Lt. Dave Hayes said Tazz hadnt been captured.
Locals first spotted the reptile on Friday evening near the 9400 block of Ray Grade Road. What was first reported as a 10-foot-alligator turned out to be a tegu, a legal exotic pet native to South America.
Tazzs owner, Avery Coleman, told KIRO that the reptile is incredibly docile and friendly.
