Port sets budget for overhaul of Sea-Tac Airport concourse
The Port of Seattle Commission approved a final budget of $399 million for the next major upgrade to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport’s main terminal.
The four-story addition will add more than 145,000 square feet and open up the area where the low-ceilinged C and D concourses meet.
Early work on the project broke ground a year ago, with major construction expected to begin in early 2024 and wrap up in 2026.
It features an atrium area called the Tree at C, an outdoor observation deck, and new office, dining and retail spaces.
