Seattle-area home prices remain stable amid low inventory

Median home sales prices in the Puget Sound area didn't see much movement in August, according to a new report from Northwest Multiple Listing Service.

In King County, the median sales price for all homes, including single-family and condos, rose 0.74% year over year in August to $821,000.

In Snohomish County, the median sales price held steady from August 2022, remaining at $700,000. In Pierce County, the median sales price fell nearly 2% from a year ago to $539,425.

Kitsap County saw a modest increase in median sales price, rising 2.03% from the year prior to $547,380, thanks to low inventory. The county had only 1.6 months of supply in August — short of the 1.71 months of inventory across the 26 counties tracked by NWMLS.
