Kenmore Air Announces Partnership With Alaska Airlines
Kenmore Air has teamed up with Alaska Airlines to offer convenient connections through Paine Field-Snohomish County Airport (PAE), located 25 miles north of Seattle. The airline currently flies to Paine Field from two airports in the San Juan Islands - Friday Habor (FRD) on San Juan Island and Eastsound (ESD) on Orcas Island. Flights are operated by Kenmore Air's Cessna 208 Caravan aircraft.
By traveling through Paine Field, passengers will be able to transfer onto Alaska Airlines services to seven destinations throughout the West Coast. The partnership will open up the San Juan Islands - a popular Washington tourist spot - to visitors from further afield, and it will also allow Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan members to earn miles on flights operated by Kenmore Air when purchased directly through Alaska Airlines' website.
The President of Kenmore Air, Todd Banks, celebrated the collaboration with Alaska Airlines, saying,
As hometown airline favorites, Kenmore Air and Alaska Airlines share a pioneering history in aviation as well as a passion for service and the celebration of the joy of aviation in everything that we do. Kenmore Air is proud to bring its 77 years of experience serving the San Juans and British Columbia to the award-winning Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan, allowing for seamless booking between Alaska Airlines destinations and the San Juan Islands and the opportunity to earn miles.
