After applying for funding tied to red flag law, Youngkin officials vague on plans to use it

Now state officials have gone vague on whether they're going to take the $5M and how they'd use it.

Election for the state senate and state house of delegates is coming up. Primary is June 20th and general election is Nov. 7th. All 40 state senators and all 100 delegates are up for election. The state senate is currently 22 D and 18 R; the house is 51 R and 46 D. The senate has kept much of the Youngkin agenda from becoming law.
