Deputies discover man with severe injuries, tied and left stranded to die

BEXAR COUNTY, Texas (WOAI) — The Bexar County Sheriff's Office (BCSO) is searching for a suspect after a man was found on the side of a country road, tied up and severely injured.

Sheriff Javier Salazar says someone driving on a road Saturday morning just after 7:00 a.m. found the victim tied up with visible face and upper body injuries. They called 911 to report it.

When deputies arrived, they found a young man, possibly in his 20s, with a thin build, who was tied up and appeared to have suffered substantial injuries to his face and upper body.

“These folks, whoever did this to him, there seems to be a lot of hatred, and anger that went into this attempt to murder this young man,” said sheriff Javier Salazar. “To leave him out here to die on a country road, it’s a pretty heartbreaking situation.”

I hope he pulls through and if he knew this person, gives the police all the information they need. secondwind Apr 2022 #1
"with a thin build". What a curious statement. 5'10" and 160 lbs is a healthy BMI. Midnight Writer Apr 2022 #2

They don't give a name, or specific location, or hair and eye color, but they felt the need to include "with a thin build".
