(116,500 posts)I think that most people like reading news that is close to home so I'm trying to fill that niche on DU. There is a lot of news occurring at the state and local level, particularly when the Legislature is in session.

(507 posts)My wife and I moved to Oklahoma from Wisconsin 19 years ago, and we really like it here. Most everything in Oklahoma has been good for us. However, a few of our politicians leave a lot to be desired. In fact, some of them are downright ignorant, corrupt, clueless, or some combination of all three. We have to keep up with what the occupants of the capitol are up to. Even then, they will still sneak a fast one thru when no one is looking sometimes. It is good to see a source of Oklahoma news concentrated in one easy to read format. You posts are most welcome. Thanks again!
