I'm going to e-mail him to tell him if he's going to retire he can vote guilty in the impeachment trial. It can't hurt if he's not running.

I had been hearing that Gym Jordan was thinking about primarying Portman. Portman has been a complete and total waste of space as a Senator. He can always be counted on to waffle and weasel and do exactly what his handler Mitch McConnell wants. And then Portman clutches his pearls about how dysfunctional things are and how mean the Democrats are.

That makes my blood run cold. In a just world, Jordan would be facing expulsion for violating the Constitution in his promotion of Trump's Big Lie about the election and perhaps even criminal charges depending on the extent of his involvement in the January 6 insurrection.
