being touted for historic leadership. The real story is that they found three Republican women to take the positions, including an African American woman.

Voter registration is public information in NC. If someone is registered unaffiliated, you can still see which ballot the individual chose for a primary election.

Three women means nothing if they support a political party that denies women control of their own bodies.

to the story which calls it "historic" because all three women are holding positions of 'leadership' at the same time on the Board. There has never been a time when all three positions were held by women at the same time.

It's still Republican control, regardless of sex, which isn't stated in the story. I looked up their voter registrations.
