Early voting: Erie County Day 6 numbers announced for primary election

BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Erie County Board of Elections on Thursday released the Day 6 total for primary election early voting.

A total of 829 ballots were cast on the sixth day of early voting for the June 23 primary elections, according to the Erie County Board of Elections commissioners, Ralph Mohr and Howard Johnson Jr.

The vast majority of the six-day vote total came from Democrats. According to election officials, 5,229 ballots have been cast by Democrats, compared to only 29 by Republicans and 21 from Conservatives....

- 1,382 in the 23rd Congressional District Democratic primary;
- 2,644 in the 61st Senate District Democratic primary;
- 1,180 in the 149th Assembly District Democratic primary;
- 26 in the Republican primary for Collins town justice.
