I am glad you are still doing them. I usually post in them just to kick them, and to say "I have never been there" or "I have been there, bit don't remember it." To me, New Mexico stands out as a state that Gore won by a mere 430 votes or so. Also, my baby sister has been there. I have seen a photo of her and mom standing on the four corners. But I understand they moved that monument so maybe she wasn't 'really' in New Mexico.

Many people think new Mexico is country, not state.

Went to high school in Albuquerque in the '60s, then went back for a few years in the '70s. I've been back for a couple of class reunions and managed to get lost both times, the city has really grown! One of my favorite memories -- watching the morning clouds do a slow waterfall down the face of Sandia Peak, gorgeous! And I can still remember the yummy taquitos and guacamole at Mac's Steak-in-the-Rough, mmmmmmmm.

Infirmities of age now make it difficult to travel. But if I can ever figure out a way to get there and get around while there, I will do it!
