NEWARK, NJ A woman claims she was "beaten senseless" by three Taco Bell employees earlier this year after she complained about a burrito she purchased, according to multiple reports citing a lawsuit filed in Superior Court of Essex County.
Leticia Rivera, 49, suffered a broken pinky and a cut to her head in the May 17, 2022, incident at a Taco Bell on Broad Street in Newark, NJ.com first reported.
According to the lawsuit obtained by the publication, an attorney for Rivera said she purchased a burrito at the location and later approached the manager because she thought it tasted funny.
According to the lawsuit, Rivera tried to walk away but a worker came around the counter and attacked her. The employee was joined by two other employees, who also assaulted Rivera, reports said.
