My favorite story in the paper today: Two years ago, she tried to get the NH legislature to act on an issue, and was shrugged off as “a minor doing a Girl Scout project.” So guess which Girl Scout is now about to become a member of the legislature —

Because of people like her! And a legion of others, who strive to do better, every day, hereabouts, and are all worn out on "You can't do that!"

When Mrs. Mopar moved here to join me, one of her frequent remarks was " I have never met so many determined women in my life!" "Yup! Some good, ain't it?"
