Burning Man hires top lobbying firm, former Trump campaigner to deal with BLM
Burning Man organizers have hired some heavy hitters including a former Trump campaigner to get in the ring with them while battling the Bureau of Land Management.
The Burning Man Project, the non-profit that throws the 80,000-person desert party each year, hired the law and lobbying firm Holland & Knight on May 9, according to public lobbying disclosures.
Rich Gold, the leader of the firms public policy and regulation group, will be on the account as well as Scott Mason, who worked on President Donald Trumps campaign and in his administration transition, The Hill reported.
Paul Bock, former counsel for Senate Judiciary Committee, Kathryn Lehman, former chief of staff of the House Republican Conference, and Dimitri Karakitsos, former senior counsel on the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, will also be on the account, the Hill reported.
