Reproductive freedom in Missouri via initiative petition?

I am wondering, has anybody thought of trying to get reproductive freedom (abortion rights) on the November ballot in Missouri? If there is any effort like that afoot, I would like to sign it. And donate to it, and vote for it in November.

Somebody is going to say, well, if that got on the ballot and Missouri voters passed it, the heavily Republican state legislature would just pass something that would effectively overturn it. But if they're going to do that, I still want them to HAVE to do it. Because when we stop fighting against them, THAT'S when they've really won.

Puppy Mills, Concealed Weapons, Medicare Expansion, and I am sure there are more are examples of majority votes being reversed by Republicans in our grand state.

but then i remember the whole "right to work" thing that they keep pushing. And the same folks who know that is a "rip off" keep voting in the people who keep pushing it!

I keep worrying about the medical mj thing that passed! Like the repubs are going to come out and say "no, let's have a do over with that!". But that one involves money, so they may let it stand. I think that could be something in the future about reproductive freedom, repubs will see that companies aren't going to move to a state that does not have that.

But it would be great to see this on the ballot. And maybe the folks in the center of the state will finally see that the republicans they vote for do not have their best interests and freedoms at heart.
