St. Paul, Buffalo Restaurants Lose Food Licenses For 60 Days For Indoor Dining - first time ANY

St. Paul, Buffalo Restaurants Lose Food Licenses For 60 Days For Indoor Dining (Patrick McGovern's Pub, St. Paul, Norm's Wayside in Buffalo), 1/5/21
https://minnesota.cbslocal.com/2021/01/05/st-paul-buffalo-restaurants-lose-food-licenses-for-60-days-for-indoor-dining/

The Minnesota Department of Health says Patrick McGovern’s Pub in St. Paul used its indoor patio while keeping it enclosed, and lost its food license for 60 days.

Norm’s Wayside in Buffalo was serving people inside and employees were not wearing masks. In addition to a food license suspension, it received a cease and desist order.

This is the first time that any bar/restaurant resistor has lost any kind of license,

with the exception of Havens Garden in southwest Minnesota, whose local 6-county health department suspended their food license in late November or early December, and a couple days later, after a vote by the board of that health department, gave it back. (During those 2 days I'm pretty sure she remained open and serving).

The authorities have been pussy-footing with these establishments since late November, endlessly doing court injuctions and other meaningless Kabuki Theater type stuff, while the bars and restaurants just keep operating, with cease-and-desist orders unenforced, and Minnesota officials endlessly blither-blathering about how they prefer education first. Jsesui f8ucking chrsit if you know what I mean.

Not sure whether the food license thing will actually be enforced the way that actually stops them serving food as opposed to endless endless endless Kabuki Theater of ignored and unenforced court actions.

I've been watching this shit for a long long time. I visit several bar/restaurant resistor Facebook pages daily every day https://www.democraticunderground.com/10599822 to stay informed as to what is going on, as opposed to the stupid local media crap that just makes it sound like a lot is happening (the endless court injuctions and cease-and-desist orders) when as a matter of fact, nothing has changed.

I've been watching these rogue bar/restaurant owners wrapping themselves up in the American flag screeching CONSTITUTION and FREEDOM and showing up on Fox and Newsmax and presented as darling heroines (mostly) of the far right and raising gobs of GoFundMe money.

They are killing our fellow Minnesotans and Americans. That is precisely, exactly, and inarguably what they are doing.

Gov. Tim Walz’s order closing restaurants and bars in the state and limiting the size of public gatherings does not apply to the casinos due to tribal sovereignty.

are in management positions at a Casino. For those Two it is frustrating dealing with the Native Casino Operators. It is all about the Money, keep the Booze flowing and at least one Deli operation open.

Tested before entry and masks required, but, once in,30+%pull the masks off..
