Mohamed Noor found guilty of third-degree murder, manslaughter; not guilty second-degree murder

Jurors have found former Minneapolis police officer Mohamed Noor guilty of murder in the third degree and manslaughter in the second degree in connection to the fatal shooting of Justine Ruszczyk Damond.

However, he was found not guilty of murder in the second degree.

Damond had called 911 to report a possible crime occurring outside her South Minneapolis home in July 2017 when she was shot while approaching the vehicle with Noor and his partner Matthew Harrity inside.
