Was "invited" to a" town hall" meeting with Paulsen

well, I got a phone call. I was actually interested but, again, out of the blue the call. It was shortly after 9:00 am and we were getting ready to have breakfast (perks of retirement, having breakfast in mid morning..)

So I stayed on the line for a few minutes. Someone, identified himself as a Republican who worked for Rudy Boschwitz complained about the increase in drug prices. Actually mentioned Franken and Klonuchar as working on this. Paulsen was aheming, kinda agreeing and then I realized that I really did not have time to listen to everything. Did not even know how many "participants" were waiting in queue.

He gave the phone number of his office if one wants to be called for future "town hall meeting," though I've read letters of people putting their names and numbers and never getting called.

But, hey, he does have town hall meetings

was considering a vote for the "Kill the peasants and sell their organs for profit" bill in the house, I contacted his office urging him to overcome his innate fuckheadedness and vote no.

Of course he voted yes, so I sent a letter explaining why I would work to defeat him, any one who looked like him and everybody who he'd ever supported for generations to come.

Well. I guess that was good enough to get on his mailing and phone contact list.

I was invited to dial in to his "Town Hall" - which would actually be a prerecorded 30 minute presentation of him answering softball questions while we listened.

Republicans - the crotch lice on the body politic
