So far, Minneapolis federation of police is silent

In previous shooting, including the dogs, recently, they immediately stood by the shooting officer.

Now, silence.

Was reported on WCCO earlier.

The Federation has declined to comment publicly and said they plan to wait until after the investigation is completed to make a statement.

totally acted correctly, and the president of the federation will whine about how the police chief and the mayor are so unfair to the cop who was of course afraid for his life.

This is an awkward situation for the police department and the federation, obviously. The officer in question is a Somali immigrant, and the victim was an unarmed white woman in her pajamas - the person who had made the 911 call in the first place and went out to the alley to talk to the officers when they arrived. How on earth do you explain something like that? They probably can't think of any excuse at all.

As opposed to the usual response to yet another police involved shooting. This time, there's practically no further information provided.

short fused stick of dynamite that prevents positive relationships between the Mayor's Office and the Police Federation.

In the end, this will with out a doubt cost the City of Minneapolis major millions and years of hostility in the 5 th Precinct. Seen the same garbage in the 4th Precinct years ago.

There's a statute that limits the liability of municipalities.

Wow,so every death via COP only pays 1.5 mil,no wonder Freeman is slow to go. What a embarrassment. Notice the Police Chief is in depose. What the hell is her game.
