FLINT, MI -- Fenton parents Alaina Bouwman and Katie Hawley are prepared to pull their children out of school this fall.
Thats how strongly they feel that children should not be required to wear masks in schools.
Hundreds of Genesee County residents lined Saginaw Street in downtown Flint Wednesday afternoon to protest a mandatory mask mandate that the county health department instituted last week for students in K-6.
The decision from the county came as many Genesee County schools were coming up with their own policies for masks in their schools.

require their kids to attend school.
