The 26-year-old driver who jumped the Fort Street drawbridge while it was opening — "Dukes of Hazzard" style — was charged Friday with reckless driving and with two counts of malicious destruction of property.

If convicted, Miguel Gomez of Allen Park faces a maximum sentence of up to 5 years in prison and a fine of $10,000 or up to three times the amount of the damage he caused to the bridge.
