913,022 people have voted early in Massachusetts so far. Here's a look at the numbers.

BOSTON - Early voting in Election 2024 is off to a strong start in Massachusetts.

As of 4 p.m. Thursday, the secretary of state's office said 913,022 people have already voted, 12 days before Election Day.

That's 18.1 percent of registered voters in Massachusetts.

According to the state, 723,853 ballots have been cast by mail. Another 189,169 have gone to a polling place to vote early.

Early voting in Massachusetts started last Saturday, October 19. It will end on Friday, November 1.
