Boston's alleged serial 'peeping Tom' arrested again
An alleged serial peeping Tom was arrested outside Lovejoy Wharf in the city last night after police tracked him down via his court-ordered GPS ankle monitor. Decosta Turner, 31, was held overnight and is scheduled for arraignment today in West Roxbury District Court.
According to a police report, Turner is a chronic repeat offender. But, he was out on bail and ordered to wear a GPS ankle monitor. He is now facing charges of criminal harassment, trespassing and lewd and lascivious conduct, the report states.
On Sunday afternoon, a woman reported she felt she was being followed while walking on Calumet Street. Due to Turners most recent violation of his court ordered exclusion zone, police write, they pinged his GPS ankle monitor and it located him at 100 Lovejoy Wharf. Turner was arrested outside on Causeway Street on a warrant, police report.
In April, police charged him with peeking through a first-floor window on Calumet Street in Mission Hill as he had reportedly done on that street five times before. This time
he was accused of expressing sexual overtones and other similar vulgar acts
with reckless disregard for public exposure.
