Anyone in or around Massachusetts following Hernandez trial?

Anyone care?

Anyone want to discuss it? (Perhaps there is another location other than this forum/group to discuss it?)

If not, I'll look elsewhere for discussion, but I thought DU members might have some astute observations.

Sort of ironic the trial started the week between deflation-gate and the Super Bowl, I think.

MADem or Mannie might be more into it?

Or you might cross post in GD.

I thought I might do that after the Super Bowl Sunday, as I certainly don't want to amplify any aspersions or dirty laundry on a national level amoung DU'ers anywhere in the USA about the Patriots, etc.

Being an armchair addict of news about Aaron Hernandez since the body of Oden Lloyd was discovered less than 24 hours after he was murdered, less than a mile from Hernandez's home, I just thought there might be some DU folks around RI, and Mass and New England in general who would have some insights, or other thoughts to share.

I think the DNA found on joints in Hernandez's home, DNA found on a bullet shell, on gum and lots of video evidence from Hernandez's home and several other locations that date and time pretty much nails him for at least a murder conviction on a "joint venture" circumstantial evidence basis. No one will ever know if Hernandez, himself, pulled the trigger firing 6 shots into Oden Lloyd's body. But, as most of us know, such actual proof is not required for a conviction.

I would obviously NOT be qualified to serve impartially on a jury since I think I have already made up my mind as to his guilt. Nonetheless, watching a 4-10 week trial is always a fascination for me and I do welcome NECN's on-line live video trial coverage from the courtroom.

Just putting this out there.

From opening arguments and for all testimony on record.

One can review every public testimony, as well as opening arguments and whatever will follow.

Approximately 7 hours of testimony and opening arguments on file for review as of this time and date.

The jury has been sent home for the weekend at this time. Testimony will resume Monday morning at approximately 9am, clement weather, jury, witnesses, and attorneys' presence assumed.
