Yo, Fellow Nerds: MIT Mini Maker Faire This Saturday

More than 130 Makers and Maker Groups will be exhibiting at the MIT Mini Maker Faire this Saturday, Oct. 4th.

All over the world, the maker movement is really taking off. Maker Faire is a day-long event created by MAKE magazine to celebrate the spirit of creation - whether it's creators of handicrafts, high-tech robotics, or custom go-karts. At these events, creators bring out their creations to share with each other and with the community.

Here at MIT, a group of students, staff and alumni are putting together the first ever MIT Mini Maker Faire, to take place this year on Saturday, October 4. The MIT Maker Faire will bring together local makers from the MIT and Cambridge/Boston area. The event will be free for exhibitors and attendees, and open to the whole public. Remember to mark your calendars and contact us if you would like to participate!
