If she was a decent candidate she would be in the Senate right now, but somehow she managed to lose what should have been an easy win and the whole country paid for her loss. Thankfully Warren won that seat back, but Coakley should never be nominated for anything ever again after her disaster of a campaign.

Then she can run a Keystone Cops campaign to hand that office over to the GOP.

She's a nincompoop who should never be on a ballot again.

That Senate campaign taught her a few things.

I think she'll make a good governor. If she gets the nod, and it looks like she will, I'll work hard to get her into the corner office. Nothing wrong with a governor who prioritizes rule of law; perhaps some of the screw-ups of the MA State Police can be dealt with with a former AG warming the chair.

I'm not as down on her as some here. Then again, while I agree that "personality" can sway the stupid, there's nothing like brains. I'll vote for brains any day.

don't think that another Democrat will automatically be elected to replace an outrageously popular one like Ted Kennedy.

in MA, the myth that we're this uber-Blue state is just not true anymore. What saves us is that we've got a fairly smart population. Pity that a lot of people didn't show up for that special election, and Scott Brown, with his ooh rah fake personality, ended up misrepresenting us for a brief period.
