Nobody really noticed bc it was blue already, but Maryland shifted left harder than any other Dem state. From +26 for Clinton to +33 for Biden. He won it by more than FDR or LBJ.

2. With a Senator like Jamie Raskin as a role model, I'm not surprised at all.

And Joe Biden being Joe Biden, of course..

Wish I lived in a State that embraced such goodness in it's leaders.

4. Jamie Raskin isn't our senator (YET,)

'just' Ben Cardin and Chris Van Hollen, 2 good Dems. Jamie represents MD Dist 8: https://raskin.house.gov/8th-district NEAR DC.

(My RENT, for a 'small' house @ riverside, is $1300.)

5. 1300 for a small/average house rental is about right.

$1300-$1600 for about 1100-1500 sq ft.
Depending on location, that sounds like the norm.
Of course I just checked the coastal areas & it appears I'm kinda priced out of that.
