Does anyone agree?
Back in 1776 a group of very wise men wrote a declaration that gave the ordinary people the power to pursue life in the manor they deemed best. They also gave people the right to elect people to represent them. If the people felt an elected person was not working in the best interest of the country they could be removed from office. There were three branches of government, the president, the congress and supreme court. The purpose was to ensure proper checks and balance so no one person could become a supreme ruler. To me it seems half the people in this country no longer care about freedom of the people and others have no opinion. To these people I would say, you might be wise to study living in a dictatorship, because that’s where you are headed.
