At a press event on Tuesday, Louisianas Gov. Bobby Jindal (R) repeatedly dodged questions about whether or not he believes in the biological explanation of how life evolved on Earth or the Creationist vision of a world created in seven days by God.
~snip~
The reality is Im not an evolutionary biologist, he told the assembled media.
What I believe as a father and a husband is that local schools should make decisions on how they teach, Jindal a potential 2016 hopeful for the Republican presidential nomination said, dodging the question as to whether or not creationism should be included in school textbooks.
He went on, And we can talk about Common Core and why I dont believe in a national curriculum? I think local school districts should make decisions about what should be taught in their classroom. I want my kids to be exposed to the best science, the best critical thinking

It's tough to be a Creationist when the Science Channel is running programs about the geology of earth over time (over 6,000 years).

(45,251 posts)1. I won't say whether I believe Bobby Jindal exists.
Sure, I rolled on the floor laughing when someone gave the GOP response to a Dem SOS, but I refuse to say if that was Bobby Jindal or not.
Could have been any Republican killing his Presidential hopes by showing himself to America. Happens all the time. I'm pretty sure a robot from the Hall of Presidents at Disney World even did it but don't quote me.
