Louisiana Congressman-elect Luke Letlow hospitalized as COVID symptoms persist

Louisiana Congressman-elect Luke Letlow has been hospitalized in Monroe as his COVID-19 symptoms persist.

Letlow, R-Start, announced Friday he tested positive for COVID-19 and was quarantining at his Richland Parish home.

But on Saturday he was admitted to St. Francis Medical Center.

"As a precaution and under the recommendation of his doctors, Congressman-Elect Luke Letlow is being admitted to the hospital (Saturday) for monitoring as he is treated for COVID-19," said Andrew Bautsch, a spokesman for Letlow who is also battling the infection.

He's from Start, a tiny unincorporated town which is the birthplace of Tim McGraw. The firehouse is a double garage with the words START FIRE on it.

He worked for Bobby Jindal. Oh well, I wish him good health anyway I guess.
