Democrat Wins Special House Election In Kentucky

Democrat James Kay won a three-way special election Tuesday to fill a vacancy in the Kentucky House, spoiling a bid by Republicans to pick up a seat in their quest to win control of a chamber long dominated by Democrats.

I can't say I was impressed by Kay but I'm glad he won. In my opinion, the fact that the independent candidate pulled in 21% of the vote without spending money is an indication of how dissatisfied voters are with both parties.
