he, he ... my little upstart INDEPENDENT DEMOCRAT nailed some moderate Repubutt in debate
Saturday in Prairie Village.
Amy Bell is running in Kansas House District 21, against favored Republican moderate incumbent, Barbara Bollier, who ABSENTED herself on the crucial vote on Brownback's tax package, ending, amongst other things, corporate income taxes,

Amy did her homework on ALL of the tax cases floating around on "both" sides of the aisle here in Kansas and was strong in detail on that theme in response to most of the questions, pursuing clarification of 2-3 of her opponents responses to questions about her part in the tax legislation to include the fact that not only did Representative Barbara Bollier not vote for Brownback's tax bill, she didn't vote AGAINST it either, since, though she made it to all of the other votes that day, she was sick for the tax vote.
I'll try to get us some video of Amy Bell in this debate for you, but I hear that even some of the state's self-appointed "king/queen makers", members of a certain putatively representative moderate coalition, came to Amy afterwards and wanted to get to know her, as Bollier had used several incorrect guesses of Bell's first name in her remarks.
I'll bet Barbara Bollier knows Amy Bell's name now.
