And Paul McCartney is playing the area as well. Gee, I wonder who will get the most attendees? Since Sir Paul sold out in about 20 minutes or something, I'd say he will. But it doesn't cost over a thousand dollars to see Biden.
Personally, I'd rather see the Worlds greatest Rock and Roll band, the Rolling Stones. But I think I'll go to the Biden rally.

(10,098 posts)I've never been a real big Stones fan. I did see the Who in the UNI dome a few years later. Loudest damn concert I ever attended, and I sat in the 5th row at a J. Geils concert.

My favorite concert at the Dome was Alice Cooper, because it was my first date with my future wife (the radio station I worked at gave me tickets). A close second was Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. Not so much because of the show, but because we got to go to the after party. Frankie drinks Courvoisier VSOP, BTW.

(576 posts)I walked past the media platform and noticed CNN, fox, and others, including local stations of course. As I walked by I said to nobody in particular "Why is fox here? All they'll do is spread some bullshit." Some guy high fives me when he heard me say that. A few others agreed with me as well.
