Of course, Gary Owens (Laugh-In announcer) also worked there in the 1950s, but it was a different time.

Today, Shenendoah might as well be in Nebraska.

Had to look to see where KMA was.

I think once upon a time in my youth (1960s) I was able to pick KMA on a terrestrial radio. Once or maybe twice.

FCC or what ever regulated radio then didn't approve and made them stop.

KMA was the only morning radio at my house.

When the Prince Albert Tobacco song played it was time for me to get out of bed and ready for school.
